Article Wan has said artistes refusing to work with their colleagues on a feature is a common feature In the mainstream while speaking to Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM.
His comment closely follows on the heels of Ayesem’s lamentation that rapper Kofi Kinaata has snubbed him over a collaboration for months now. Article Wan observed artists refusing to jump on a colleague’s track is widespread and he himself is guilty as well as being a victim of the unwholesome practice.
“Me, if you send me a song and I don’t feel, I don’t feel. People have sent me songs, I didn’t do. And I’ve also sent songs to artistes, and they didn’t even reply. It’s part of the game. If that thing happens, Ayesem, I’m telling you, just forget about Kinaata and do your thing. Kofi Kinaata is not God. Kinaata is good, same as you. He’s got hit songs and you as well,” Article Wan advised Ayesem.
Article Wan also advised Ayesem to make the brewing tension between them tuned into bad blood.
“So if you keep on talking about this issue, you make it look like there is a problem between the two of you. Don’t create problems for Kofi Kinaata. Forget him and do your thing,” he concluded.
