Burna Boy has been called out on social media by a Nigerian lady (@bole n fish lagos) for failing to pay for bole and fish.
She explained how the musician had published a post promising to pay £10,000 to anyone who could deliver Port Harcourt-styled bole and fish to him in London in a series of photos on the vendor’s Instagram stories.
After that, the lady contacted Burna Boy’s management and expressed interest in delivering the lunch to them.
The online vendor described how she emailed Burna Boy’s manager and mother, Bose Ogulu, who sent her to her PA to oversee the lunch delivery.
The lady went on to show Bose Ogulu, her PA, and the person who was supposed to pick up the order proof of her deal.
The bole vendor further explained that she took four hours making the lunch since she had to go an hour from her home to an African shop, and that where she was staying was also three hours from London, where the delivery was scheduled.
The Bole Vendor chastised Burna Boy’s mother and his team, claiming that she had never been paid a dollar until now on International Women’s Day.
