  NEW START-UPS

We have to slow down as we become older. We notice that we don't always have the same amount of energy or stamina as we used to. It's difficult to accept at first. However, when we grow accustomed to it, we begin to perceive it as a blessing.

We begin to notice things that we had previously overlooked due to our haste. We make time for things we previously overlooked. And we value some things more than others.

Let us look forward to the chances, experiences, and fresh beginnings that await us as we enter new stages of our life.

Let's take things a little easier on ourselves and stop to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

Affirmation: I accept and embrace these changes in my life as new possibilities for spiritual development.

Obtain knowledge. Get a handle on it. Do not abandon them. 4:5 (Proverbs)

When it comes to pride, people appear to be perplexed. Is it true that pride is a good thing? Is it good or bad?

It's fine to be proud of your children when they achieve success. We should all be proud of our job, or at least we should be.

When it comes to a haughty and arrogant attitude, though, pride is not a healthy thing. Pride, arrogance, and quarrelsome spirits are not from God. A hard, unforgiving spirit isn't either.

Pride and rebellion were Satan's sins. And when we are pleased with ourselves, we are reflecting him.

Our God is a loving God. Love, meekness, joy, goodness, and a peaceful disposition toward others are the results of living in His presence.

There are two options available. It is up to us to make the decision.

Affirmation: I chose, O Lord, the path of humility and reliance on Thee.

Lord, you will not scorn a gentle and humble heart. (See Psalm 51:17.)
