The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has early this year stated on one interview that the ministry is waiting for financial clearance which will enable them to recruit new graduates teachers into the teaching field this year.
In one of his interviews he said, that financial clearance will be granted his outfit to enable them to recruit new teachers on this academic year.
He said again that the Finance Ministry has already given financial clearance to recruit new train teachers and they have already done that.
Again, he said recruitment for train teachers has already done left with graduates teachers. This means the recruitment for graduates will delay for the train teachers to finish their Biometric registration. He said this will help the free SHS/TVET.
He said since the Graduate teachers were not trained by college of Education, their recruitment will take some time this year.
