According to rumours, Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry could return to the club this summer.
Since leaving Arsenal for the Bundesliga in 2016, the 26-year-old German winger has established himself as one of Europe's best talents. Bayern's recent success has been aided by the forward, who has won the UEFA Champions League and three Bundesliga crowns.
However, contract negotiations with the Bavarians have failed to progress. As a result, according to The Sun, he might be ready for a stunning comeback to the Premier League with Arsenal.
Gnabry, 26, recently wowed Arsenal supporters by posting a photo of himself wearing a vintage Arsenal shirt on his Instagram profile. The striker has already expressed his admiration for the north London club.
The Germany international was asked about a possible return to the Premier League club in a 2019 Pro: Direct Soccer interview. "Always a Gunner, (leaving the club) was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but I think it worked out in the end because I wanted to play, but as a club guy Arsenal... top, top," he said.
Gnabry's current contract with Bayern extends until 2023, and there has been speculation that contract negotiations will not be a problem. Sky Sports, on the other hand, Germany's Florian Plettenburg has claimed that there is a 50% probability that the Germans will leave the Bavarians.
Football.london reports a fee of £63 million for his services. Manchester United and Liverpool, both from the Premier League, have expressed an interest in him.
