The Gunners were unbeaten against Watford on Sunday and could have a fully fit squad for the visit of Leicester this weekend as they look for a fifth consecutive victory.

Arsenal has won four consecutive Premier League games in a row to reclaim fourth place and give themselves the best chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

The Gunners are one point ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United, but they have three games in hand on the Red Devils, putting them in contention for a top-four finish.

And a fully fit squad will give them the best chance of accomplishing that feat, as Mikel Arteta's side continues to impress.

Only two players were absent from the 3-2 victory over Watford on Sunday, and they remain the only notable absentees ahead of the visit of Leicester City this weekend.

Here's everything you need to know about the current state of play at the Emirates Stadium, as well as potential return dates for those who are currently out.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Takehiro Tomiyasu is still out with a calf injury and could miss another game against Leicester.

Takehiro Tomiyasu's absence continued against Watford on Sunday, and the defender has now not appeared for the Gunners since the New Year's Day defeat to Manchester City.

The Japanese international recovered from his initial thigh injury to play against Brentford on February 19, before injuring his other leg shortly afterwards.

This has kept him out of action since, and it remains to be seen whether his condition will improve enough for him to play this weekend against Leicester.

"We are in the same place as last week, we still have a doubt," March 4. Arteta said: "We are in the same place as last week, we still have a doubt over Tomiyasu but the rest I think are in a good place."

Emile Smith Rowe

Following another omission against Watford last weekend, Emile Smith Rowe could make his return this weekend.

Emile Smith Rowe was expected to play against Watford after returning to training last week following a bout with Covid-19, but he was left out of the 3-2 win.

The midfielder last appeared in a 2-1 win over Brentford on February 19, scoring the first goal before falling ill shortly afterwards.

However, the club revealed that Smith Rowe had continued to test positive for Covid-19 prior to the trip to Vicarage Road, explaining his continued absence from the squad.

It is now hoped that the youngster will be able to return to action for the second time  when the Foxes visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, as the Gunners chase a fifth consecutive league win.
