Kennedy Agyapong Exposes Top Police Officers Behind Armed Robberies and Murder of Other Officers:
Net 2 TV, Kennedy Agyapong's television station, has aired an exposé on top Ghana Police Service officers who are in the pockets of armed robbers.

These officers, according to Kwaku Annan of the 'The Seat' program, are on the payroll of armed robbers and allow them to do whatever they want without being arrested.
He claims that corruption is widespread in the police force and has requested that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akuffo Dampare, personally come to their aid because they cannot trust his men.
Kweku Annan listed the names of top armed robbers in the country who are permitted to walk free by police in an animated part on the show.
These Nigerian armed bandits, he claims, have gone to Ghana and taken over because they have free reign.
According to Annan, some top police officers are on the payroll of armed robbers and receive as much as Ghc 10,000 each month.
According to Annan, the police allow them to go about their thefts in peace in exchange for the cash.
He disclosed that the police and armed robbers have such a close relationship that in some locations, armed robbers are even allowed to bankroll the construction of police stations.
The astounding revelation comes at a time when the topic of police corruption has piqued public curiosity.
Some police officers were recently arrested for allegedly masterminding some of the bullion van robberies that have been reported.
Annan claims in the video that the rot extends all the way to the top of the service.
