More transfer speculation has linked Manchester United with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski.

According to rumours, Manchester United is ready to strike if Bayern Munich's 'unhappy' Robert Lewandowski decides to go.
United may possibly be in the market for a striker this summer, despite the fact that a defensive midfielder is supposed to be the primary goal. The club already lacks out-and-out attackers, with Edinson Cavani looking likely to leave when his contract expires, and Cristiano Ronaldo's future still uncertain.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the club has already started looking for a new striker and has made preliminary contact with French club Lyon about striker Moussa Dembele. The former Celtic man is also one of numerous candidates being considered.
Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski is the latest to be linked, despite the fact that it appears to be wildly implausible. Despite the fact that he is 33 years old, the Pole is still at the top of his game, having already scored 42 goals this season. His contract in Munich, though, is set to end in 2023, and there is conjecture that he is unhappy with the scenario.
On the Bayern Insider podcast, Bild writer Tobi Altschaffl stated that Lewandowski is dissatisfied at the Allianz and that United could make a move if he decides to go. He stated, "I can say with assurance that they are interested."
"They've shown interest in Lewandowski in the past, but it doesn't imply he'll join United in the next weeks." That is not the case.
"Pini Zahavi exchanges with a variety of teams. United have stated that if a circumstance developed in which he could leave Munich, they would be interested. Everything appears to be achievable for the time being, according to the reporting of the last few days and weeks. He is dissatisfied."
Meanwhile, Manchester United is allegedly interested in signing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan is also out of contract in 2023, and contract talks have reportedly stalled because he believes his value to the team isn't represented in his new contract proposals.
United would be willing to pay a transfer price to sign him this summer to bolster their own backline, according to Sport through SportWitness, and will try to conduct negotiations with the 23-year-old. Araujo, on the other hand, would love to stay at the Camp Nou, according to the report.
