TSE (Testicular Self-Examination) is a circumstance in which males of any age, usually from 18 years and up, examine their testicles in order to detect any abnormalities that have occurred in the testes. Experts warn that if irregularities in the testicles are not detected early, they can develop into a health cancer that can lead to testicular cancer.
Just like women, men must do this every month by standing in front of a mirror to have a carefully examination of their balls. Below are the processes through which Testicular Self-Examination is done.
Hold your testicle between your thumbs and fingers with both hands and roll it gently between your fingers. Look and feel for any hard lumps or nodules (smooth rounded masses) or any change in the size, shape, or consistency of your testicles.
Doing this at least thrice every year could help save your life as the lumps are identified earlier, treatment becomes easier.
