Following the UK government's decision to fine Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, Tuchel's name has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Manchester United have been connected with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel.
Despite reports linking him with Manchester United, Thomas Tuchel has stated that he would not leave Chelsea before the end of the season.
Following the UK government's suspension of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Tuchel's name has been connected with United, with a lot of changes expected at Stamford Bridge. The club has been granted a special license to play football until the conclusion of the season, but they will be unable to sign or sell players when the transfer window opens.
Given the uncertainty, a number of major names, including Tuchel, have been linked to exits. With United on the lookout for a new permanent manager, the German has emerged as a viable option.
As United attempt to find a new manager before the conclusion of the season, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag remain the frontrunners, albeit Tuchel's odds have fallen considerably in recent days. Jamie Carragher is one of many who has encouraged United to sign Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Tuchel, on the other hand, has dismissed any suggestions that he could depart the club. And, speaking after his side's 1-0 win over Newcastle in their first home game since Abramovich's sanctions were enforced, the former PSG coach stressed that he would not be leaving at this time.
"There's no doubt in my mind that I'll be here until the end of the season." "Absolutely," Tuchel stated. "All we can do now is wait, and we must continue to take things day by day because anything can happen."
"As you are aware, the situation is clear: the club is for sale, and ideally it will go through so that we can put things in perspective." But it's all conjecture, and I don't have any more information than you do.
"That's what I meant by day-by-day, which is a fine way to live your life in any case, and now we're compelled to do it because there are some conditions we can't control, and it's not so great since there are no strings to pull and no steps to take to help."
"On the other hand, it allows you the freedom to concentrate on what we can control, which is our performances and our ability to demonstrate the spirit."
"Of course, the focus is on the first team, our players, and myself, as well as Chelsea's first team." Chelsea, on the other hand, is much more than the Premier League's first team. It's a great club with a lot of history, and I'm sure there are hundreds of individuals, including myself, who are more concerned than our players and staff.
"It's vital for them that we show the spirit and give them a little distraction, some hope, and demonstrate what we're about, which is football because we love the game."
