Ralf Rangnick is expecting business as usual from Cristiano Ronaldo when the Manchester United striker faces old adversaries Atletico Madrid.
A spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League is in question on Tuesday night when Los Rojiblancos head to Old Trafford, with the tie ready at 1-1 and United in light temperament in the wake of bringing down Tottenham.
Ronaldo hit his first Premier League full go-around since January 2008 toward the end of the week and has an amazing record against Atletico, scoring 25 objectives across 36 gatherings - including four high pitches.
"Indeed, I'm not stressed that [Ronaldo] has not had the option to recuperate," Rangnick told correspondents on Monday. "Up until this point he's generally been an individual who looks a considerable amount after himself, his body and he precisely knows what to do, so I'm not stressed over that.
"Assuming he can score another three objectives, we will see. That is to say, it's not so natural to score three objectives against this group at all."I think his general exhibition was simply great, while possibly not even awesome and this is clearly the thing we desire to get from him again tomorrow evening. Be that as it may, it's not just about Cristiano, it's about the entire group."
Bruno Fernandes is good for United in the wake of missing the Tottenham conflict because of Covid-19, as are Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay. Rangnick is in this way expected to make acclimations to his group.
"I need to settle on that choice by tomorrow so it's potential we have a few new players in the beginning XI, however, there isn't that much motivation to change an excessive number of positions," he added.
"We will see. Most importantly, it's great to have everyone accessible, that is superior to pass up a major opportunity five or six players."
