Nine student have been recorded dead in a fatal accident with more others wounded in a fatal bus accident travelling from Eastern region to greater Accra region .
According to report from joy news these students are student of University of education winneba, who are reporting to campus after the one month strike bye University teachers association of Ghana. From reports the bus driver was tired for many hours after driving and he coincidentally felt asleep briefly whiles reaching suhum in the eastern region causing the accident,
The front of the bus was heavily twisted after the accident and the former president of the Republic of Ghana John dramani mahama has reacted to this incident which has led to the sudden death of this young lives.
" What a sad waste of young lives in the accident drivers of intercity coaches and other public transport vehicles must exercise a little more caution with the lives of our citizens entrusted to their care. my condolences to the families of the Dead and a speedy recovery to the injured"
