Mohamed Salah reportedly missed Liverpool training on Monday after suffering a foot injury in the weekend's win over Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 29-year-old scored his 20th league goal of the season in Liverpool's 2-0 win at the Amex - the club's 2,000th in the Premier League - before sustaining the problem in the second half.
Salah downplayed the seriousness of the situation, according to Jurgen Klopp, after the game, with the Reds facing a trip to fourth-placed Arsenal on Wednesday evening.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, Salah did not train on Monday, casting serious doubt on his participation in the midweek match.
On a more positive note, Ibrahima Konate has returned after missing the Inter Milan and Brighton games due to a knock, with Roberto Firmino also back on the bench at the Amex.
Salah now has 28 goals and 10 assists from 35 matches across all competitions this season, and he has scored eight times in his previous 12 meetings with Arsenal.
