FC Barcelona and Spotify have signed a strategic long-term agreement deal that begins in July 2022 and is expected to last for four years. The long-term strategic partnership will help to continue the redevelopment of Camp Nou which is part of the Espai Barca project. The deal was agreed and signed by the Board of Directors of FC Barcelona and is subject to changes through an electronic voting process that is likely to take place on the 3rd of April, 2022 by the Extraordinary Delegates Members Assembly.
The agreement aims to bring closer music and sports and Spotify will appear on the front shirts of both the Men's and Women's teams in the coming 2022/2023 season. The training shirt will also be sponsored by Spotify for the next three seasons. According to the President of Barcelona, Joan Laporta declared that"This partnership will allow us to continue bringing the club closer to its fans and make them feel a part of the Barca family through unique experiences, combining entertainment and football. This will make it possible to connect with a new audience worldwide". The Camp Nou will be rebranded as Spotify Camp Nou. Barcelona and Spotify have not revealed the figures that goes into the agreement to the public.
