Attorneys for Assin North MP, James Gyakye Quayson, on Wednesday effectively blocked the hearing of a case to decide in case he can continue performing Parliamentary obligations.
On Walk 8, the Supreme Court requested the lawmaker to record his guard within the case after it had ruled that the MP has been adequately given take note of the case.
Some time recently that, the Pinnacle Court had on February 22, coordinated that court forms be brought to the consideration of the MP through a distribution within the Every day Realistic daily paper and posting on the divider of the Incomparable Court in Accra, the Tall Court in Cape Coast and the home of the administrator.
This was after the private citizen who recorded the case against the MP, Michael Ankomah Nimfah, through his attorneys told the Court that all endeavors to grant the MP court reports have demonstrated unsuccessful.
A Cape Coast High Court in July, 2021 canceled the Assin North Parliamentary decisions when it ruled that Mr Quayson owed steadfastness to another nation other than Ghana when recording his designation shapes to challenge the surveys.
