Introduction to Management and the Concept of Management
Management is the effective, efficient, correct and timely use of another person’s or personal resources/ property for the purpose for which it was delegated with the view to produce the expected value.
Simply put
Management means adding value to yourself, your gifts, resources and task.
It means to get the most out of the least Or to get the maximum out of the minimum.Management is a kingdom principle, a biblical principle and a universal principle.Now the universe is governed by laws and principles
It is not moved by emotions, your suffering, your state of being, your faith or religious affiliations, so far as you conform to the laws and principles governing the universe you automatically attract the required results irrespective of who you are
Let’s take not of this
God does not allow grow where there is mismanagement
God withholds resources from bad management
God would not allow growth where there is bad management
So if you can’t effectively manage a single room getting a mansion would be a burden on you( you’d mismanage it) so God withhold a mansion from you unless you change your attitude and effectively manage the single room very well.
This is because mismanagement brings about wastage and God hates wastage
So if you’re given 3 and you make use of 1 and misuse the 2 there is no way you’d be given access to 5.
God would not answer the requests of someone who is a bad manager.
There is a potential of growth in everything in this universe It is management that bring about that growth
So if you don’t see you’re growing and moving towards your goals and ambitions it is probably because you’re not effectively managing yourself.
Now management requires hard work
Nothing grows automatically, you need to put in effort and work
There is nothing like something for nothing. To gain genuine results you need to put in more work,
The attitude of laziness brings about mismanagement .
The country of Dubai has built a paradise on Earth, out of their desert and sea because they effectively managed their land by adding value to it and getting the maximum out of the minimum.
Management requires intentionality and taking responsibility for the little you have.
