Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is said to be 'open' to talks with Manchester United about a possible move to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Tuchel's position at Chelsea has become uncertain as a result of the club's serious off-the-field issues, and there have been reports that Man United have identified the German as their top choice to become the club's next permanent manager, with Ralf Rangnick set to step down this summer.

Due to Chelsea's current problems, Tuchel would be 'open' to hearing Man United's 'pitch' regarding a possible move to Manchester, according to The Athletic.

According to a recent report, the Red Devils are eager to appoint the 48-year-old as their new head coach before the end of the season.

Tuchel, on the other hand, has now proven himself in the Premier League, having led the Blues to last season's Champions League title as well as the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup in his relatively short time in charge of the English giants.

Chelsea advanced to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season with a 2-1 win over Lille in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday night.
