The best football leagues in the world are still the English Premier League and the Spanish LaLiga. However, there has long been a discussion concerning which of the two is superior. The discussion has only gotten hotter as it becomes more difficult to reach a resolution. Recent transfers haven't helped the debate, since some players have struggled in one league but prospered in the other. Here are a few examples.

Wolves to Barcelona's Adama Traore

Traore's physicality, pace, and dribbling made him a household name in the Premier League. Despite the fact that he didn't score many goals or provide many assists, his efforts made him one of the league's most interesting players. When Barcelona signed him on loan in January this year, there were misgivings. But, under Xavi Hernandez, he has defied the skeptics with his excellent form and goal contributions. Many have assumed that LaLiga isn't as demanding as the EPL, which is why Traore has adapted so swiftly. Eden Hazard, on the other hand, is a case in point.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard is set to join Real Madrid.

Hazard signed for Real Madrid when he was at the top of his career as a Premier League player. Despite working under two excellent managers at the club, Zinedine Zidane and now Carlo Ancelloti, the Belgian was unable to adjust to life in Spain. Injuries have played a factor, but even healthy, the attacker hasn't been at his best. Why is there now such a significant question?Philippe Coutinho is on his way from Barcelona to Aston Villa.

After his outstanding performance in the Premier League, Barcelona made Coutinho their record signing. After more than three seasons with Barcelona, he would not be able to recreate his England form in Spain. Coutinho would revert to his previous self when he returned to the Premier League with Aston Villa. This is an example of the difficulty of playing football in Spain.

Arsenal's Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has joined Barcelona.Aubameyang was a good striker for Arsenal in the Premier League. He's even better now that he's with Barcelona. There's a theory that Aubameyang's performance at Barcelona reflects the Spanish League's simplicity. However, the situations of Hazard and Coutinho, both of whom were once Premier League stars, contradict this notion.
