Manchester United are apparently taking their pursuit of Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski very seriously. Lewandowski wants clarity about his future and isn't happy with Bayern's treatment, according to Sky Deutschland through Bavarian Football Works.

As a result, the 33-year-old is seeking for alternatives and has stated that everything is possible this summer. Bayern Munich fans and experts expect Robert Lewandowski's contract renewal to be a priority this summer.

After all, the Polish footballer is perhaps the finest player in the world right now, and Bayern fans want their club's best players to stay happy. However, the Bavarians have been unable to progress Lewandowski's contract negotiations.

According to Sports Witness, Lewandowski has claimed publicly that his club has not approached him or his entourage to discuss a contract extension. In addition, he is dissatisfied with Bayern's decision to investigate the prospect of signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Many top European teams are keeping an eye on Lewandowski's status in Munich and are preparing to entice the Bayern Munich striker to join them. Manchester United is stepping up their chase of the former Borussia Dortmund star, and they are optimistic of enticing him to Old Trafford.

Robert Lewandowski has been personally responsible for 43 percent of Bayern Munich's goals this season, making him one of the club's most important cornerstones. The 33-year-old is yet to make a choice about his future and is weighing all options.

If Bayern fail to extend Lewandowski's current deal, which expires in 2023, it will be a major setback.

Will Robert Lewandowski's arrival at Old Trafford improve Manchester United's fortunes next season? Manchester United is currently in need of new players in a variety of roles. The Red Devils' aim for next season will undoubtedly be to add a striker to the squad. The presence of Cristiano Ronaldo in the club will make it harder for United to recruit Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski. The Portuguese play center striker for his squad, which is the same position Lewandowski would play if he signed with the club. Cristiano's future at Manchester United, on the other hand, is uncertain, and he could leave the club this summer. If that occurs, United may pursue Lewandowski if he becomes available.

The signing of Lewandowski would not be enough to propel United to the top of the Premier League table. In the midfield and defensive areas, the club would require similar investments.
