Massimiliano Allegri, according to El Nacional, is interested in buying Real Madrid right-back Alvaro Odriozola, who is now on loan at Fiorentina.
Last season, the Spaniard struggled to make an impression with Los Blancos. He only made 16 appearances in all competitions due to injury and poor form, scoring twice. The fact that Odriozola had to compete for the right-back spot with Dani Caravajal and Lucas Vasquez didn't help matters either.
As a result, he was loaned to Fiorentina this season, where he has performed admirably. For the Italian club, he has already made 24 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and assisting on another occasion.
Odriozola was also loaned to Bayern Munich for the second half of the 2019-20 season. However, in all competitions, he was only able to make five appearances for them.
Allegri is now said to have asked Juventus' board of directors to sign Odriozola in the summer. The 26-year-old also stated that he feels at ease playing in Italy.
In 2018, Real Madrid paid Real Sociedad €30 million for the Spaniard. If Juve come calling for him, they could try to ask for a similar amount, given his return to form in Serie A.
