2 DEAD, OTHERS INJURED OVER CHIEFTAINCY CLASHES AT JATONG

The Savannah Regional Police have detailed that two lives have been misplaced due to chieftaincy clashes at Jatong.

 

 

Hawa Zacharia, 53, and Seidu Abdulai, 40, are said to have met their awkward passing after being hit with stray bullets on Wednesday, March 15.

 

A few others generally ladies, who were harmed have been conceded to the Tamale Instructing Clinic for treatment.

 

Almost 46 houses are said to have been torched in expansion to 70 packs of grains.

 

 

The Jatong skin got to be a bone of dispute between the current Jatongwura and the late Banvumwura.

 

The Jatongwura was enskinned as Vital Chief of Jatong by Yagbomwura. As a result, the Banvumwura was enskinned for Banvum.

 

 

 

In the mean time, the Regional Police Command Open Relations Officer, Reviewer Adjeikum Owusu, has famous that officers have been deployed to the range and calm has been reestablished within the Jatong and Banvum communities.

 

He too famous that the remains of the perished have been kept at the Tamale Instructing Clinic funeral home for post-mortem examination.

 

Reviewer Adjeikum Owusu included that the Police will take off no stone unturned to capture the guilty parties.

 

“All the perpetrators can do is to as it were run, but can’t stow away as the Police would go all length to bring them to confront the law,” he said.
