Conor Gallagher's potential to be one of the best football players to have stepped on the pitch become evident following his loan move to Crystal palace from chelsea.Gallagher who is under contract at stamford bridge until 2025, is tagged for an early exit from the Bridge in search for consistent first team football.

Currently out on loan at Crystal Palace under the tutolage of Patrick Vieira , Gallagher has been arguably the best player in Crystal palace this season netting 8 times and providing 3 assists in 25 appearance in the premier league.

Returning to chelsea and competing for a palace is the ultimate goal, however chelsea already has a choked middfielf with the likes of Ruben Loftus Cheek and Ross Barkley completely frozen out of the first team with little to no play time, a fate Gallagher would try to avoid, but with the breakthrough made by Mason Mount and the other academy graduates could serve as an encouraging factor for the young player.

The chelsea loanee's progress has been noticed by scouts of teams around the world with two Italian giants and also Crystal Palace gearing to battle it out for the 21 year olds signature.

Conor Gallagher is expected to return to chelsea when his loan spell comes to and end, but despite Tuchel's clear admiration of the player, Ambrose believes Palace should attempt to lure him away from Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.

With chelsea being hit by multiple sanctions by the Government of the United Kingdom, if not resolved as soon as possible could facilitate the easy exit of these and many more players.

But with new owners set to be announce soon, there could be a turn around for the club and players.

Ambrose also believed £60million would be enough to lure the young talented player away from stamford bridge.

In a statement, when asked if Crystal palace will break the bank to sign Gallagher from chelsea, Ambrose told talkSPORT: "100 per cent – and I mean break the bank!,this reiterated the fact that Crystal Palace are keen on securing Gallagher's services.

Ambrose continued “£60m, I think that could do it. He’s playing every week, he’s happy.

“I think Palace is a big club going forward. They’ve got a manager in Patrick Vieira who is someone you want to learn from". Ambrose continued “I’m not saying it’s a stepping stone but it could potentially be a stepping stone if Palace doesn’t go the way he would think they could,I think they’re on the up and heading towards the top half of the table and beyond and players like Gallagher are needed to make it possible"

Juventus and Inter Millan are also reported progressing with their interest in acquiring the player although no official bid has yet been made, the two giants are reportedly monitoring the daily progress of the player.

However, should Gallagher defy the odds and opt to stay and fight for a place at stamford bridge, he risk facing fierce competition from Mason Mount,Hakim Zyech who is currently in the form of his life, scoring goals game by game, Billy Gilmoure who will be returning to the bridge as well as well as from Mateo Kovacic,Jorgino and Saul Niguez should his contract be made permanent.

For the safety and progress of his development, a move away from stamford bridge will do him lots of good than a stay.
