Founding member of the National Democratic Congress and former Attorney General and Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Obed Asamoah has sent a message to the 2020 flagbearer of the NDC. 

In an exclusive interview with Joy News' Benjamin Akakpo, the maverick politician said the NDC has a higher chance of winning the 2024 elections but it has to put it's house in order. 

He said John Mahama has a higher chance of winning the 2024 elections whether against Dr. Bawumia, Alan Kyeremateng or anybody the NPP presents, but will have to get things worked out in his house. 

He added the NPP is gradually increasing it's appeal in the North because of Bawumia and will garner more votes in the Central Region should Alan Kyeremateng gets the nod because of his matrilineal lineage to the Region. 

Dr. Obed Asamoah however added that the running mate for John Mahama couldn't win her home Region and constituency.
