Mohamed Salah's dream destinations have emerged, with Liverpool set to award him a 'crazy' contract with a'very serious' £59 million offer on the table.
According to Spanish sources, Mohamed Salah has two "dream" clubs that he could join this summer, with Barcelona and PSG vying for his signature.
Of course, the Liverpool player could still sign a new contract, but it does not appear to be imminent.
According to Spanish media outlet SPORT, Salah has 'no intention' of renewing his contract at Anfield under the current circumstances.
According to reports, he has told Jürgen Klopp that he is considering a move away from Merseyside is open to joining Barcelona or PSG in the summer.
It's unclear how Barcelona could afford him, and Real Madrid would have been mentioned if they weren't also interested in Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé. Salah's 'dream,' however, is said to be Barcelona or PSG.
While Mohamed Salah wants to stay at Liverpool, he is well aware of his enormous earning potential.
According to Fabrizio Romano (via Caught Offside), Salah is well aware that he could earn a 'crazy' contract elsewhere, with massive money expected to be on offer from several European powerhouses.
In light of this, Liverpool's wage structure will need to be flexible if they want to keep Salah at the club.
FSG will never be able to compete with the likes of PSG, but they can currently offer a better footballing prospect, so if they can move closer with the deal being offered, there is still a chance of renewal.
According to Romano, however, Liverpool is unwilling to change its wage structure.
Negotiations may break down as a result of this. To date, the FSG model has proven to be very successful, and no one is bigger than the club, but losing Salah would undoubtedly raise the stakes in terms of delivering long-term success.
