Liverpool are planning a huge £59m offer to prise Robert Lewandowski away from Bayern Munich, according to ambitious reports in the Spanish media.
The Iconic Poland striker has been in Bayern for eight seasons and has blasted in an incredible 339 goals in 366 appearanceappearances. However, with his deal due to expire summer 2023, talks over an extension are yet to yeld an agreement. As such, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims Lewandowski's future "remains open" as he reaches a critical points in talk.
However, Bayern may yet look to move the striker on if they are unable to agree terms. Now, there is an acceptance that Lewandowski is in the autumn of his career.
However, Spanish outlet Nacional claims Lewandowski has two suitors this summer in Barcelona and Liverpool.
They claim Barca boss Xavi has already sounded the pole out over a summer move to Camp Nou. They state there is an acceptance in their hierarchy that they are preparing.
As such, the Reds are ready to launch a £59m offer which will leave Bayern with no option but to sell.
