Fabrizio Romano, an Italian transfer expert, has just confirmed Barcelona's new signing Kessie.
"Let's get started. Franck Kessié has signed as a new Barcelona player until June 2026, following a verbal agreement reached days ago. He joins as a free agent from AC Milan."
"Kessié will receive a net salary of €6.5 million plus bonuses. Already had a medical exam, "Romano asserted on Twitter.
Kessie is not like the other midfielders in the Barça squad and will come in to compete with Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Gavi, and Nico Gonzalez.
After five years with the club, Kessie will depart. He joined Inter from Atalanta in 2017 and has played 214 games for the Serie A club, scoring 36 goals.
