The 22 year old academy product got promoted to the senior team after a successful lone spell at Derby county where Lampard was in charge for a year almost winnning a promotion back to the premier league.

However it will take a fortune to tempt Chelsea to consider selling their youth player of the year and top scorer so far for them in the league.

Given the impact of covid 19 on club finances Chelsea who seeks to bolster their attack will have to sell I order to buy.

With Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori gone, it wont be surprising to see Hakim Zyech whose playing time has continually dwindled following the arrival of Thomas Tuchel, also Christian Pulicic might well also consider restarting his career away from the Stamford bridge.

Also with the frustration of Rumeru Lukaku persisting, offloading the striker will release fund for the club to buster their squad and find worthy replacemts for  the departing Cesar Azpilacuta, Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

With the likes of Lewandowski, Harry Kane and Haaland still on Chelsea's radar a good business in selling players will be of benefit.

Chelsea will equally need a fortune to keep Mount at Chelsea as his contract will have to be reviewed.

Mount hasn't shown a desire to leave Chelsea just yet, however a failure to agree with terms of contract renewal could push for a move away from Chelsea.
