Passengers traveling from Assin Fosu to Kumasi were robbed by daredevil armed robbers who threatened victims they would perform another attack shortly. On Monday, about 1:00 a.m., a gang of seven armed robbers attacked some drivers and passengers at Assin Endwa in the Central Region's Assin North District. According to the evidence acquired, the masked thieves not only stole goods from their victims, but also assaulted several of the passengers.
While telling their trauma, some of the victims stated that the armed robbers told them to work extra hard so that they might continue to steal more from them in the following operation. The victims were robbed of their cell phones, travel bags, and money. The robbers were armed. The gang barricaded the road with a confiscated articulated truck before carrying out their operation, according to DSP Moses Osakonor, the Assin Praso District Police Commander.
