The Ghana Card registration is being handled by the National Identification Authority (NIA) in Accra.

The event occurred on Tuesday morning, according to reports, and the victim was brought to the hospital.

Henry Myers-Aboagye, the Corporate Affairs Officer who confirmed the event, said it happened at the entry when the gates were opened for operations.

"I'm not sure what happened, but I was told there was a stampede at the gate when the gates were opened."

"We have advised the public to simply join the wait when they arrive at the gate." However, they will not listen, and it might be challenging at times. We called the cops in to assist, but it can be overpowering at times," he told Citi FM in Accra. Telecommunications customers have been told to update their information in the National Identification database.

The process entails visiting the individual operators' outlets, which has resulted in long lines, despite the fact that the deadline of March 31, 2022 is rapidly approaching.
