Six new envoys have presented their letters of credence to the President at the Jubilee House after being accredited by their respective nations to serve as Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Ghana.

Ali Redjel, the ambassador of the People's Republic of Algeria to Ghana; Fidelia Grand-Galon, the ambassador of Suriname to Ghana; Jon Tong Chol, the ambassador of North Korea to Ghana; Leena Pyslvanainen, the ambassador of Finland to Ghana; Dr Usura Harahap, the ambassador of Indonesia to Ghana; and Mohamed Musa Nje, the Gambian High Commissioner to Ghana.

At a quick but colorful event at the Jubilee House, the envoys took turns presenting President Akufo-Addo with their letters of credence. During their presentation, they committed to work hard throughout their different tours of duty in Ghana to promote trade, economic, and social links between their countries and Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo told them that his government will work with them at all levels to ensure that their tour of duty in Ghana is a success.

The President also lauded Ghana's relationship with each of the six countries, promising that his administration would make every effort to strengthen it.

He reassured the diplomats that members of his government, such as Chief of Staff Madam Akosua Osei Opare; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and her Deputies, are at their disposal.
