According to Marca, Real Madrid's 4-0 loss to Barcelona in the El Clasico has highlighted Carlo Ancelotti's lack of faith in four members of his squad: Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, and Mariano Diaz. This is for the Italian coach's own reasons.

Bale, on the other hand, is said to be primarily focused on helping Wales qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Since August, he's only played 66 minutes against Villarreal and three minutes against Paris Saint-Germain. The club is, in fact, counting down the days till he departs.Hazard is a popular member of the Santiago Bernabeu dressing room and is putting in long hours in training, but his physical condition does not persuade Ancelotti. The Italian believes he has lost the verticality that made him so successful, and he wants players with a similar profile to Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Marco Asensio. Hazard is thought to be irritated at Ancelotti's treatment of him.
On a day-to-day basis at Valdebebas, Jovic is considered to be disappointing, unable to display the kind of fight required to compete with Karim Benzema for minutes. Ancelotti dislikes his demeanor, and the club is expected to look for a new home for him during the summer transfer window.Mariano's case, like Hazard's, is purely football-related. Ancelotti and his staff believe he isn't a Real Madrid-level player and that he is only useful in emergency scenarios, such as last Sunday's El Clasico. Despite being told he isn't welcome at the Santiago Bernabeu, he refuses to leave.
