According to a source received by Ahotor Sports, Isaac Acquaye, a former member of Ghana's Black Stars(Captain), died yesterday in Accra following a brief illness.
During his football career, Acquaye, a former captain of the Black Stars, played for two local clubs, Standfast and Great Olympics, as well as Dumas.
During his coaching career, he also managed Sekondi Hasaacas, Bechem United, and Great Olympics according to sources.
Burial plans would be disclosed later, according to a family spokesman meanwhile the body has been deposited at the mortuary awaiting burial service.
