With the progressions set to produce results in April, more data about the new guidelines keeps on trickling through.

The new standards would require clubs not to spend in abundance of 70% of its pay on compensations, albeit this will at first be 85% during a time of transformation. This is like the current standards set up in La Liga, where as far as possible depend on 70% of a club's pay as well.

The thing that matters is that while in La Liga clubs face further limitations on signings, UEFA are taking steps to consign clubs starting with one European rivalry then onto the next. Generally, rebelliousness with the standards would mean dropping from the Champions League to the Europa League or Europa League to the Conference League. As called attention to by Marca, this would at present leave 40 clubs in infringement.
