1.God's word Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and valuable in some way, revealing truth, exposing sin, correcting errors, and instructing us to live God's way. We are fitted together and moulded for the tasks God intends for us through the Word.
2.God's audible voice Before you dismiss this proof of God speaking to you, recall that on the Damascus road, Jesus spoke audibly and directly to Saul. You may believe that God no longer works in this manner. However, I can attest to the fact that he does because he has spoken to me. And my life changed entirely and irreversibly in that moment.
3.Wise Counsel Wise counsel from others is one of the signs God is speaking to you. This can take a variety of forms. This can be accomplished through reading your Bible and getting to know God's word for yourself. So that you can tell if what other people are saying is in harmony with God's word when they counsel you.
4.Visions and dreams There are countless examples of God speaking to individuals via visions and dreams throughout the Bible, in various circumstances. The entire book of Revelation is a vision that God gave to the apostle John, who then shared it with the rest of the world.
