Barcelona has made additional moves to strengthen the squad for next season, with the goal of consolidating the project that began with Xavi's arrival at the Camp Nou. Lewandowski, the Polish striker from Bayern Munich, is one of the strategic signings.

The agreement with the player would not be a problem because of Lewandowski's desire to change the atmosphere and the good relations between president Laporta and the player's representative, Pini Zahivi, who has been looking after his interests since 2018, when he left Cezary Kucharski, the agent who brought him to German football in 2010. Barcelona would offer him a four-year contract until June 2026.

Barça, on the other hand, offers him the opportunity to lead what would be Xavi's first initial project on the Barça bench. Although he now has Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is providing an immediate performance, the Egarense coach wants a player of proven guarantee – a star – to finish the actions of the talented midfield and the game by the bands that he is molding to get the most out of his football idea.

Barca understands that Lewandowski can perform at the top level for two more years (until June 2024), but he is one of those players who is focused on his career, so he could extend his current performance as he has for years. There are his records, which he has kept over time.
