At the Kwahu Akwaboa crossroads on the Kumasi-Accra route, one person was killed in an accident.
An STC bus, a trailer, and a Toyota Vitz were involved in the collision, which occurred on Thursday, March 24, 2022.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the STC, who was driving from Accra to Kumasi, sought to overtake a trailer that was stranded on a hill owing to a mechanical problem.
In an attempt to dodge the STC while the latter was attempting to overtake the Trailer, the driver of the Toyota Vitz, which was travelling towards Accra from Kumasi, became wedged in the center of the two vehicles.
The Toyota Vitz was entirely wrecked, and the driver perished instantly.
His head had been crushed to the point of becoming unrecognizable.
The STC's driver and some passengers in close proximity to the driver were hurt and taken to the Nkawkaw Government Hospital.
