Organizers of the upcoming event “Afronation” have replaced Burnaboy with American award-winning rapper RickRos.
Burnaboy taking to his Instagram story expressed how gutted he was and couldn't make it up to the show due to circumstances beyond his and his team's control. Taking to his Instagram he wrote
“I'm extremely gutted that I won't be able to make it to the Afronation Puerto Rico due to circumstances beyond everyone's imagination, I will make it up to you all for sure...love damini”. He wrote.
The organizers out of disappointed needle to find a replacement for burnaboy and eventually, they were able to reach out to American award-winning rapper Rick Ross who accepted to come and perform. The organizers brought out a statement to announce Rick Ros's agreement.
“Yesterday Burnaboy’s team informed us that, Burnaboy won't make it to the Afronation Puerto Rico due to circumstances beyond their imaginations. We spent the last 24 hours looking for a replacement and we are hugely thankful to RickRoss for stepping in at the last minute to deliver you an incredible show”. They added. Wizkid is headlining the show.
