Manchester United have been handed a major boost in their attempt to sign Manuel Akanji from bundesliga outfit borussia Dortmund this summer.according to reports the Swiss defender has rejected a new contract offer and he will leave for around £20million during the upcoming window.

Having settled on Raphael Varanenas a long-term partner for Harry Maguire this term,Manchester United have to be linked with feather moves in that position,Antonio Rudiger has been highlighted as another potential option.
