A Presidential Staffer at the seat of government, Newton Offei Abeeku has said the Ghana Black Stars will never quality for the World Cup in Qatar which is expected to be held in November this year.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana locked horns at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi for the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup which ended goaless.
Both teams considers the game as a do or die affair after excelling from the group stages and the playoffs being the last hurdle.
Reacting to the first leg, the Presidential Staffer wrote "Ghana Will never qualify for the FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar, just mark it on the wall.
Citizens were unhappy with his comment and lashed out him in the comments section of the post.
