The proposed new contract for Bruno Fernandes at Manchester United would reportedly pay the Portuguese playmaker £240,000 per week at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old is not set to become a free agent until the summer of 2025, but he is said to be close to signing a new five-year deal with Ralf Rangnick's side.
Fernandes has struggled to find his best form this season, but he still has nine goals and 14 assists from 37 appearances across all competitions, with 15 of those contributions coming in 27 Premier League games.
Fernandes' new contract is worth a staggering £240k per week, but the former Sporting Lisbon man will still not be among the club's top five earners.
Cristiano Ronaldo is said to earn £480k per week at Manchester United, with David de Gea, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane, and Paul Pogba rounding out the top five.
Fernandes has 49 goals and 39 assists in 117 games for the Red Devils since his arrival in January 2020.
