Ghanaians, especially in the showbiz industry, are shocked over the death of one of their own. The news of Doctor Cann, a presenter at Happy FM, has shocked many. The man who is the host of "Showbiz Xtra" died on Friday after a short illness. The management of Global Media Alliance, the mother company of Happy FM, announced the death of the presenter on the Facebook page of Happy FM. Doctar Cann, known in real life as Francis Cann, has been with the station for years now. Many listeners and panelists of his programme, "Showbiz Xtra", have taken to social media to share their fond memories of the man and their last encounter with him.

A Facebook post by an entertainment pundit and popular sound engineer named Fred Kyei Mensah read,

"WHAT A WORLD!

I was supposed to be on his program tomorrow morning on Happy fm.

I have just received the bad news that Doc Cann Gh is DEAD.

I am shocked! This world is something else.

Rest well"

Many have described that the man who hails from Salpond as a good man. They say he was selfless and hardworking.
