Lawrence claims that his late parents abandoned him and left him with the housekeepers, who tormented him while his parents were out at work. This had an impact on his mental state, causing psychological harm as well as hatred for his parents. Lawrence said that he was never loved by his parents and that they were absent from his life.
He also revealed that when his father was inebriated, he was a violent man who would beat him up without appreciating his work or sentiments. He was compelled to undergo a mental test, which found that he was incompetent to stand trial, but he was remanded and prosecuted anyhow.
