A story has been sighted on Facebook and corroborated by several genuine sources about how Zuweira, a make-up artist who plys her trade in Accra was pronounced dead at the Ridge Hospital yesterday resurrected a few moments to her burial.
Explaining the situation, her aunt Rabu said Zuweira was declared dead by medical staff of the Accra based hospital and in line with norms, customs and traditions of Islam, she was prepared for burial.
Cemetery authorities and all necessary arrangements were made for her burial and prayers only for the staff of the hospital to call that their daughter had resurrected.
Medical staff said as at the time of the pronoucement, they were medically certain there was no life in her and confirmed numerous times before informing the family of the deceased.
"God of wonders. My neice was pronounced dead yesterday. We were only waiting for the body to be buried. The arrangement has been at the cemetery. Doctors just called to say she is up. What a wonderful God we serve. I'm just in tears. We thank God". Her aunty, Rubi Dan Alpha Sharabatu posted on Facebook.
The family had made all necessary arrangements at the morgue and cemetery. While returning to the mortuary to retrieve the body, they received the news of her resurrection.
The family has called for prayers for their daughter and themselves.
