Kai and Cristiano Jr., Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney's eldest sons, have already made an impression for Manchester United at the youth level this season.

Following his famous father's emotional homecoming to Old Trafford, Cristiano Jr officially joined United's youth divisions last month after practicing with the club.

At Manchester United's young level,Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. and Kai Rooney are making an impression.

The 11-year-old was previously signed by Juventus and made waves for his goal-scoring ability.

Cristiano Jr scored 58 goals in 28 games for Juve's minor team in 2019, according to reports.

His father has reservations about his son's desire and determination to succeed as a professional player, but the boy is eager to prove his father wrong and would love to play alongside his father before he quits.

"My son urges me, 'Dad, hold on a few more years – I want to play with you,'" Ronaldo remarked, according to The Sun.

Kai Rooney will not be able to play a competitive game with his father, who will take over as permanent manager of Derby County in January 2021.

However, the 12-year-old, who joined Manchester United in December 2020, is showing signs of following in his father's footsteps.

Both Kai Rooney and Cristiano Jr were on the scoresheet for Man Utd's Under-12s at the weekend.

According to reports, the young Rooney has scored ten goals in just five games this month. Impressive.

Cristiano Jr and Kai Rooney appear to be forging a strong partnership in United's youth divisions, much like their fathers did in the mid-to-late 2000s.

Man United will be acutely aware that failing to keep Ronaldo at the club will inevitably result in Cristiano Jr's exit, despite his obvious brilliance.

But, regardless of whether United qualify for the Champions League or not, Ronaldo is certain to continue his Old Trafford experience next season.

In 2020, Ronaldo said of his eldest child, "We'll see if my son will become a great footballer." "He has a lot of potential." He dribbles well and is quick, but it isn't enough.

"I always teach him that success requires hard work and persistence. I'm not going to put any pressure on him to become a footballer, but if you ask me whether I want him to, I'd say absolutely.

"Whether he's a player or a doctor, the most important thing is to become the best at whatever he does."
