The ex-Bolton and PSG star believes the Nigeria team is good enough to stroll past the Black Stars in the second leg of the World Cup playoff.
The Black Stars were held at home by the Super Eagles to a goalless draw in Kumasi, and would qualify if they manage a goal scoring draw.
“If we cannot win our match at home, then we don’t deserve to be at the 2022 World Cup,” Okocha said, as quoted by Footballghana.
“We must win to qualify and we will be playing in front of our fans. What other advantage do we need?”
The two West African football powerhouse will clash at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja tonight, with a place at Qatar 2022 at stake.
The Black Stars need victory of a scoring draw to qualify for the tournament slated for November this year.
Ghana have been to the World Cup three times between 2006 to 2014 while Nigeria are hoping to make it to the Mundial for the seventh time.
The winner of the two-legged encounter qualifies for the tournament later this year in Qatar.
