With only a few spots left in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, we take a look at which teams have already secured their spot in the event. We'll also look at prospective inter-confederation play-off match-ups and split it down federation by federation.
Over the last several days, World Cup qualifying has been flowing thick and fast as the final berths are secured ahead of Friday's draw.
Despite the inter-confederation play-offs taking place on June 13-14 and Ukraine's tie with Scotland being pushed to June, we won't know who will be competing in Qatar 2022 by the conclusion of this window. However, we're getting near to the final lineup, so let's have a look at it (scroll down for the complete list of eligible nations).
HOST COUNTRY
Qatar has been confirmed for a long time for obvious reasons. With a three-way host in 2026 (US, Canada, and Mexico) and plenty of multi-team bids for 2030, this could be the last time we see a single team qualify automatically for a while. Do whatever you want with that knowledge.
EUROPE
So, for those who may have forgotten, here's a quick recap. There are ten groups, each with five or six teams. The top team automatically qualifies. The ten runners-up, as well as the two best Nations League group winners, were placed in a 12-team play-off structure with three pathways of four teams each.Poland and Portugal reserved theirseats on Tuesday night.
As a result, wehave the following list of Europeanqualified teams.

Another with three rounds is available. Two sets of six teams will compete in the third round. The top two people in each group advance automatically.
