If there’s one thing that will surprise no football fan, it is seeing Ghana and Argentina in the same World Cup group. It seems the bond between Nigeria and the South American side goes beyond normal; they both have high affinity for each other. Will Ghana inherit this as they took the spot over the Super Eagles?
Ahead of the actual draw on Friday, FIFA did a simulation test today. Per reports, Ghana were in Group H with countries like Argentina, Switzerland and South Korea. Early signs show we may not escape the “naija” inheritance. If this were the actual one, many Ghanaians would consider it good. Aside Messi and his men, Ghana can match the other opponents boot for boot. We could qualify, at least, as a third-placed team.
