Chelsea striker Timo Werner needs to end his disheartening spell at Stamford Bridge by leaving the club in the late spring, as indicated by reports in Germany.

The 26-year-old German has neglected to satisfy hopes at Chelsea in the wake of joining the Blues for £53million from RB Leipzig in June 2020.

Sport1 announced Werner, who is under agreement until 2025, and his representative Volker Struth are now dealing with his exit from the club during the following exchange window.

'Perhaps the one at the public group suits me better. Here, I generally have scoring possibilities, I can score objectives. I feel entirely good here.'
