Jude Bellingham is apparently being pursued by Real Madrid for a big-money transfer next year.

Following his move from Birmingham to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020, the 18-year-old has risen quickly in world football and is now one of the most sought-after players in the game.

While his outstanding performances for club and nation have piqued the interest of Europe's elite, Real has joined the race to sign him, with the Spanish capital ready to spend the cash in 2023, according to AS.

According to the article, the Spanish giants see the England international as the 'perfect replacement' for Luka Modric, who will be 37 this year.

Real are looking to refresh their midfield, since Luka Modric (36), Toni Kroos (32) and Casemiro (30) are all in their thirties, and Bellingham would be joining another very gifted player at the club in Eduardo Camavinga.

Bellingham's price has quadrupled since Dortmund spent £25 million for him in 2020, and any potential suitors will have to pay more than £100 million considering his potential.

Real has reportedly put off plans to sign the teenager until next year, citing the priority of signing either Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland this summer.

Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United are all rumored to be interested in signing Bellingham, but considering Real's clout in the transfer market, they may find it even more difficult to do so.

Bellingham was a member of England's European Championship squad last summer and appears set to play in this year's World Cup after impressing on only his fourth international debut - his 12th overall.

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has been astounded by how good he is for his age after his performances for England and in training.

Grealish remarked, 'I haven't actually (played with a teenager who is that brilliant).' 'At 18, he's terrifyingly good.' He's just so wise. He's built like a 26-year-old me. He possesses a high level of technical ability and is mature for his age.' I can tell you one thing: when I was 18, I was nowhere near as good. I was on loan from Villa at Notts County, and I was a scrawny little thing.' You see terrific 18 or 19-year-olds, but few are as mature on the field as he is. He is quite adaptable and can play in a variety of places on the field.' He's a six, an eight, or a ten. It was enjoyable to play.

It was enjoyable to play with him, and I believe it was my first time doing so. It's great to play with another Brummie.'
