Finance minister declared that,per what has been given by the Controller and Accountant General ( CAG) and the Ghana Revenue Authority ( GRA), who will be the revenue collectors that from the beginning of may their systems will be put together for the process.
He said it in an interview at Parliament shortly after the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had rubbished delivered the state of the nation address on Wednesday March 30th.
The E-Levy was passed by Parliament on Tuesday March 29th after the third reading. Mr. Ofori Atta said it is within their right to go to court but added that Parliament has the required number in the house to pass it.
